A shared pice of sirloin steak, lyonnaise potatoes, carrots & a mix of green & yellow French beans & a few runners, for me cabbage & garlic mushrooms in a mustard sauce.

Finishing the last of the chicken - it's gone with mash and veggies so far so it's probably time to find a different carb. Probably spicy rice

I made a batch of Cornish Pasties yesterday, so something not pastry today, I thought.

However, this morning I found that silly me forgot to put the other half of the frozen shortcrust pack, back into the freezer  ::) Serves me right for being lazy, buying ready made pastry  ::)

So tonight it's cheese, onion and potato pie with coleslaw and salad  :D

I often used to make batches for my Grandson's football team :D
Now I make them just for me, I often cheat and use frozen shortcrust, and less filling, obviously. Any spares freeze well  :)

I must have bookmarked the the Cornish pastry web page when you posted it the first time and never got round to it :nowink: Shameful really as all but the swede are stable cupboard items.

There's 1 tiny chicken thigh left for tonight - not sure if it's going to get made into a meal or just eaten as is and I'll do some pasta and pesto later.
