Whole pre-seasoned chicken was on offer so I thought I'd treat myself. Pity the delivery woman managed to squash it flat with a bag of spuds. Leeks for a change and a few carrots and mash because putting the oven on for a few roasties feels like a waste.

Admiral's fish pie.  We finished work at 3pm and had a slot booked in at the dump for 3.45pm  with a load of garden rubbish.  As Havenstreet is closed off at the moment with roadworks we would have to take a roundabout route home so thought a ready meal would be a good idea.  Hardly any traffic and got home half an hour before we thought we would so could have made something from scratch.
