i have a small greenhouse which holds about six toms plants. i have ordered 6 grafted tomato plants but in the meantime i have been given 4 other tomato plants foc shirley f1 & alicante so i will have to grow these outside . they will be in a suntrap ,but also a bit windy, would your readers advice me to limit the plants to 3 trusses ??

Hello & welcome to the site, I grow those varieties outside and I usually stop at minimum of 5 trusses & as long as they're supported good enough they'll be fine outside!
