My one year Maran is making a horrible wheezing noise and keeps poking her tongue out.

Have felt her crop and it feels ok.

They were wormed 2 weeks ago with Flubenvet.

Chicken walking about and half heartedly pecking at things.

Anyone got any ideas what this could be?

Hi Kate.  

Your chook obviously has a breathing problem.  As they were wormed 2 weeks ago I doubt that it is lung worm.  I think a trip to the vets for some antibiotics would be a good idea  :!:

Never leave a wheezy problem, we lost Priscilla to the wheezes. Chooks get respiratory problems and need antibiotics to sort them out. Over here they literally call them Pneumobiotic but not sure about the uk. Hope you get it sorted in time
