What a stange year. My PSB Red Fire is producing spears in August! They dont look quite right. I bought them as plug plants. Do you think that I have been sent the wrong variety?

Maybe they got confused with Summer PSB at the supplier? My summer PSB has just started producing, but look pretty identical to the winter PSB.

Yes I was wondering that too. The same supplier sent me dwarf french beans that are now 6 foot high runners!

Just found a picture that looks like what I have growing. Broccoli 'Purple Rain' F1 Hybrid.

I really need more veg to eat just now when overcome by courgettes, beans of all types, beets and chard not to mention the salad    Come February and March I will miss my PSB. Thank you again T&M (supplier of my 6 foot high dwarf beans)

Can’t remember, but the seed was about 5 years old, so lucky it germinated really.
