Parsnip seedling question.
« on: April 21, 2020, 16:49 »
Good afternoon everyone,  it's a cracking day.
I have chitted and then grown on a number of parsnips in deep bottomless 'tar paper' pots, when planting do I remove the seedlings from the pots or plant them pots and all?

Looking forward to receiving your knowledgeable replies.

Cheers,  Tony. ???
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Pots and all, parsnips hate having the roots disturbed.

Make sure you completely cover the top edge of the paper pot so it can rot down otherwise it wicks moisture away from the parsnip
