Christmas Tipping

Who, if anybody, do you give a tip to a Christmas ?    If so why ?    :D    regards    Mrs Bouquet

This Christmas I am working in a pharmacy and am amazed at the generosity of so many people.
tins of biscuits and sweets galore.
what I do find strange the most trying of customers don't even say merry Christmas.
now't stranger than folk!

Only the window cleaner but I'm in doubt at present as service has been weighed down by the weather

The nipper's teacher and assistants get a small plant or such and the only other is our postie and only because we've had the same one for 10 years now and he's always decent about leaving parcels in a safe place for us.

Our regular postman because he does the same as Plot 1's. Trouble is trying to catch him because he nips in and out like a rat up a drain pipe!
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Well, nobody ever gave me a Christmas tip simply for doing my job, so I don't give them to anybody, just for doing theirs.
I do believe in wishing people 'season's greetings' or 'happy holidays' along with a smile, though - so I'm not a complete grump  :D

I gave one to my Paper Boy, he pedals up the hill, always at 8am.  If I see him he always asks if I am ok, and wishes me a nice day.    So he is worth it.      Also, the Bin Boys, because they go over and above for me, and will take things I leave out, like yesterday, a repaired pair of size 9 wellies, and half a kitchen cabinet  !!  so they're worth it.
My Mum always used to say to give them a tip, or they will throw some of your rubbish around.
Oh yes,  I shall leave a carrot for Rudolph    Mrs Bouquet

My good chum, Roger the painter, uncluttered our gutters again this year, because he likes ladders (I don't), and while he was up there, he cut down the wistaria. honeysuckle  and ivy, which threaten our roof every year, and he had an extra fiver for such a great chumly job!

Also, our Corralls coal man delivered our 12 bags at 9:15pm the other day, while it was dark, and raining as well! He's a great chap, we know him well, and he got the trad-fiver as well!

(Mum, you may well have the same chap where you are, his name is Andrew, and he's a fabulous bloke - we love him!)
