A spoon full of sugar?
« on: January 30, 2008, 18:07 »
A couple of my new chooks Toyah and Debbie Harry seem to have bit of a breathy :?  problem and I need to give them some antibiotics. I think its just from the move but its not getting any better :(  Anyhow, I have to dilute the stuff in water and wondered how I can make sure that they get some and that the ducks won't drink it all, and more importantly will it do the ducks any harm??
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!!

Could you put it in a syringe (minus the needle) and squirt it into the mouths of the hens that need it?

Can you separate a bit of their run off and keep them in there until they drink the water ?

I use the syringe method myself, easy if you don't have too many chooks !
