Help with allotment?

Hello, I live in Rayleigh and would like to start growing and eating my own fruit and veg, I am fine with the eating part and also hands on when it comes to the garden but do not have a clue about how to grow. Is there anyone in Rayleigh who would like help with their allotment in exchange for a share of the food?

The only help you need if on this forum, at the library or the other allotment eery on you site..

If it's very weedy get cardboard to cover, weight it down and start clearing a manageable area.to start

Slow and steady and enjoy it! It's not supposed to be a chore

RodV, can I just check whether a) you have your own allotment / garden and would like advice on it, or b) you'd like to help someone else but can't find anyone?
