We got one of the big bins a few years ago but couldn't get the compost to heat up on its own.

If I knew hwo to get it working, I'd have another. Any tips ?

We have a LOT of grass clippings and a fair few veggie peelings.
Would the chicken poo with wood shavings be any good ?

Flip no, we are also £10, £8 and £2 for the caddy. Max 3 per household.

Can't you send a few down our way or are you limited to one per household or something.

I have to say that is a great site. The composts bins aren't free in my area but i get a free compost caddy thingy if i buy a compost bin.

I'll be sure to tell ds's school about the site because they are pretty big into recycling and have their own allotment.

I tried it and it thinks because I have a BS postcode that Bristol City Council will supply me - don't think so! I live way outside.
