My Dad did his Wednesday B&Q seniors trip yesterday.
Bought round 50l bags of Verve, three for Ł10.
Now ready to get serious sowing this weekend.

I bought two bags of Miracle Gro this morning from B&M.. 2 for Ł8 which seems quite a good price.

It is very fluffy stuff that sinks down a lot when I watered it. I used it to pot up my new strawberry plants, so I hope they are OK. I would not use it for seed sowing!

Seed sowing I use Jack's magic mixed with equal quantities of perlite. Does the job a treat ☺

I'm using Jacks Magic this year, I got three bags half price from a Homebase closing down. Used B & Q last year it was terrible.

For the "important stuff" like seeds and young plants I use Clover but I also use Verve as a "pot filler" mixed with garden soil & garden compost.
