Am I a Ladybird Killer?
« on: July 08, 2015, 09:39 »
So - I've been doing some research into ladybirds and the idea of buying larvae and releasing them ....and what makes a good ladybird box...and where to site it and so on and so forth.
Apparently - ladybird larvae can be released onto infested plants and, because they can't fly, will remain in situ and provide blackfly carnage.
That got me thinking...these past few weeks when I have been spraying (soap and water/garlic spray only) and squishing and squishing and spraying...have I been killing ladybird larvae? Yikes!!!     ??? ???
