Hi fellow allotmenters,
I hope someone can help with my cry for assistance.
Due to a spell of ill-health and recuperation I have been unable to get to my usual suppliers and everyone else has sold out.
Any pointers to where I may still be able to buy some sets, of any type, would be greatly received.

Thanks
Jon

There were still loads in the garden centres near me and b&q last week. All at reduced prices too.

Bit pots luck as to who has any left, you could call your local garden centres to save you the journey. I'd be tempte to sow some supermarket spuds.

Planting supermarket spuds is probably the last thing I'd be tempted to do. I like to keep the risk of introducing disease into my plot to a minimum and will only ever use certified seed.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

  • I love growing and eating beans
You may get some that look all shriveled up and dried out from garden centers for next to nowt.
Just drop em in a bucket of water for half an hour before planting.
Roger.
