Apologies if this is in the wrong place, or even if I shouldn't post it at all...

Possibly of interest to anyone in the Wakefield area:  the local Incredible Edible outfit have organised a 'Potato Weekend' this coming weekend: 11am - 3pm both Sat and Sun at the Horticentre on New Road (A642) Overton near the National Mining Museum between Wakefield and Huddersfield. 50 varieites being sold loose (no info on what is available).

Hi arci', if you do go I'd appreciate hearing your comments on how good it is. Because of other commitments I can't get there, but would be interested for next year.

Have just come across a similar scheme for Chesterfield . Potatoes are 14 pence each pre ordering. Other seeds are available.

The 2015 date for the West Yorkshire Organics potato day is Saturday 14th February.   The venue is the same, Exhibition Hall in Saltaire.   Tubers are 15p each.
