For those wanting seed (either due to crop failure (like me) or DDs photo's), it's finally available.   :D

Yes, I thought I'd give that a try too.  Fingers crossed for a better year next year.  :)

I thought it was a considerably milder and the cloves a little smaller (which annoys me when cooking) didn't seem as juicy as the music but still 10001% better than the supermarket rubbish.  :tongue2:

Don't forget their garlic oat cakes when ordering - cos them's yummy  :tongue2:  :tongue2:

Yes - and if you're worried about the climate up north - don't forget that it's grown in Scotland!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Yes - and if you're worried about the climate up north - don't forget that it's grown in Scotland!

I can testify to that - I've been buying Music for the last six years and planting it, successfully, in my garden right on the coast in the west of Scotland.  It does fine.  A bit of local trivia for you - the received wisdom in these parts is that you plant garlic on the shortest day and harvest on the longest.  I have to admit I usually get my cloves in the ground in November and it isn't ready until July, but hey ho  :nowink:
