After sorting through the remains of my blighted and slugged potato crop I wondered if anyone had success against the keeled slugs that attack potatoes? Couldn't find anything when I searched, but may try it next year. Also, will the nematodes survive freezing as a way to store them?

I used them and the potatoes are lovely, no evidence of any holes at all.
I only gave one treatment , but the advice is to repeat every six weeks.
Not sure about freezing, but they are kept in the fridge to lay dormant until needed . The 'Use By'  date isn't very long so don't get them until you are really ready to water them on the ground.

They are a live parasite so freezing will kill them, keeping them cold in a fridge stops them from expiring too quickly without their food (mr & mrs slug)

I must admit when I tried them they did not work at all i.e everything I planted out after applying the nematodes got ravaged, despite only leaving it a day between delivery and application. I'm tempted to have another try in case i was unlucky the first time, as I don't wish to be digging up a load of ruined maincrop potatoes in a month or so.
