Your OH does WHAT?   

When the postman calls here, mine just says "Oh what have you bought now?"   

My OH encourages me.

He MADE me replace my broken kenwood with an expensive Kitchen aid mixer. He really did.

I am usually the one who debates long and hard about spending money, and he looks up and tells me to get the best quality one 'cos you will get your moneys worth out of it. And the other comment is 'the last shirt you wear's got no pockets to spare, and you can't take it with you when you go!'

He likes me playing in the kitchen.

There are several pieces of kitchen kit that I wouldn't want to do with out and the ice cream maker is in the top 4.
