I've used Dobies for years - for seeds and plug plants - and yes they are really good. My FIL has used them for years too but we both "discovered" them independently.

Dobies was the only company that my Mum ever used.

I just got my Dobies catalogue today and certainly won't be buying their coriander plug plants : 5 plants for £7.95 !!!  WHAT!!!!!!!   I must grow about £1million every year at those prices.

What my Grandfather couldn't get from the allotment association, he got from Dobies.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I order most of my organic seeds from http://www.tamarorganics.co.uk/, they're great, and cheap postage.  Mind you I thought their beetroot was cheap but with Dobies you get 1,000 odd seeds as opposed to about 180, but I'd never use 1,000 seeds!

Dobies = £1.80 for 1,100 seed
Moles = £1.90 for up to 5,000 seed!

If you're bulk buying - have a look at Moles. (No I don't have shares!).

That'd just be a waste for me, unless I could get people to share, I mean I love my beetroot but...

I'm trying to only buy organic this year too.

They are really aimed at the commercial grower, but some seed are sold in useable quantities for the allotmenteer. If you can share - even better!

Moles don't add on extra for postage on light seed either.

Just had a quick look, and they do organic too, so will have a chat with my lottie neighbours and see if we can do something.  I've got too much of some stuff already and have to have a sort out and give away soon!
