most of my toms and chillies are flowering, do i need to take the flowers off or let them do their thing ?

Yes the flowers are the fruit so just leave them do their thing

If they are flowering you need to start feeding the plants - I normally use a good organic seaweed feed and follow the directions on the bottle. The flowers on my toms are just beginning to open so will be starting to feed them soon.

What type of tomatoes are you growing smellykipper - if they are cordon types you will have to remove the suckers that grow between the stem and the leaf stalk. These suckers do not have flowers on then and take some of the goodness away from the main plant and the flowers/tomatoes. If the tomatoes are bush types you do not have to do this. Some people (DD for one) pot up the suckers to get new plants - I have tried this in the past but with limited success.

Are they in a heated greenhouse? My tomatoes and Chillies are struggling this year, I don't really know why.
