Something eating my peas.
« on: April 18, 2014, 07:13 »
I started about 20 peas off in the greenhouse all coming up nicely with only 2 not germinating but I noticed yesterday that one of the peas has been eaten well the leaves have. Any ideas what it is and what I can do please.

Could be mice - take the usual precautions. With 5 cats, I don't seem to have a mouse issue!

You'll need more than 20 peas for a half decent crop, though!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

:D I know but i wanted to start some off in the greenhouse don't ask me why cos i don't know. I am going to plant some seeds out this weekend. Do I need to do anything with the seed before planting like soak them or anything else?

Its not mice cos they in the greenhouse up on the staging and only one has been attacked  :(

A very selective mouse, maybe a slug or snail. The avatar is Dave the Minion!
