I arrived on the allotment to put in another batch of peas .  When I looked at my first lot of peas, I noted that the lower leaves of the peas had been eaten around the very edge - it was actually quite a marvel , there were perfect bite marks around the edge as if it had been crimped.  The first thing I suspected was ants, but I couldn't see any, in fact, I can't see anything that may have eaten them.  Certainly not slugs/snails, as I put down pellets, and anyway, there was no slime trails or globs of left-over bodies.  It was really clean.  Anyone got any suggestions?

It's pea and bean weevel.  Don't worry we've all got it, it does no serious damage

I had it , seemed to really stump my peas tho because after i spayed for them it looked like my peas come to life again

That could be a coincidence. It would have been useful to leave some unsprayed, spray some with  plain water, and spray some with whatever you used. My peas did nothing for quite a while, then started moving,  we've had almost no rain for 3 weeks, and I haven't watered them.
