Morning all. I've had the first proper night of sleep for what seems like months. Feel almost human.

Was it the linden tea? Who knows, will try it again tonight. :)

I've just bought some Pukka night time tea - there's no hops and valerian in this one and I swear they have a diuretic effect ::)

Morning all. :D

Snowdrops, our Russian neighbour came round with a couple of branches of her lime tree and told me I needed to take off the flowers and dry them for winter tea. It is supposed to ward off colds. But on reading about it it seems it has other benefits, one being an aid to sleep so thought I would give it a go. Although I still wake up a lot, I can get back to sleep quickly. It might be coincidence or it might be psycological. But I feel better for it. It is very perfumy and not unpleasant, but I wouldn't choose to drink it as a regular drink.

Well I'm up early (on my only day off over the weekend) thanks to a mog puking on the windowsill!!
She normally does it on the floor, so I was looking for it for 5 minutes as I could smell it

Really don't want to be up this early today :(

Tosca, thanks, I will look in a health food shop. DBG, I have night time teas, but they don't really help. I think it is now just habit, & with all I've got going on at the moment, once I am woken- like last night- 3 times, by people talking nearby outside until 2:40- my brain clicks into gear & it takes me ages to get back off. It makes me cross because I have no objection to getting up 4:30/5 ish if I have slept since 10, but if I'm awake during the night, I'm then sleepy & grumpy at 7ish when it's time to be getting up >:(

Morning all, been up for about an hour now. Just washed the car, now sitting down to a coffee and a slice of crunchy peanut butter on toast. Later the car will get a polish, then off to the plot. Later this afternoon I also have an eye test, not been done for a few years now.
