Thanks Ma they are both over 80 so every day is a bonus my step mum is extra special because I don't speak to my mother.

Pleased to hear she is recovering well M C.
Awake early here today when hubby got up to see if DD was ok, he'd heard her rush to the bathroom, yes she was ok but going on a 'shout', she's an on call firefighter. Just come back in now. Been at the hospital I work at for an automatic fire alarm going off. Thankfully the patients didn't have to be got out.
A woman's place is in her garden.

Morning Snowy - the ducks were quacking at 6.45 this morning so they and the hens are fed and watered. Now I am just relaxing before starting to work in the garden.

I remember that feeling - my OH retired about six years before me. But he did have my dinner ready and waiting every evening.  :D

No internet at home currently.....lovely unimpeded lie-in from 5.30am till it was time to come in here. Might have to make sure the router 'breaks' more often.  :D

Morning, not up as early as I thought, I must have misread the clock as I got up, thought it was before 6. :)

New mattress bought after our short break and a much better nights sleep as a result, thus awake at 6:00 been out and harvested all the tomatoes cut up all the plants as we have blight on the allotment and I'm not that far away from it.

Orange and green toms now sitting in the greenhouse to ripen off and turn red.

Morning! Up early as part of the Daughter Of The Year training, taking Aged P to airport...(and then sneakily using her massive car to pick up my bargainacious T*sco water butts)

Good morning everyone.  So pleased Ma set this up.  I'm often up and awake during the night and its a little comforting to share that time.  Mrs Robster asleep beside me always.

Very excited as this afternoon I'm going to harvest all my main crop potatoes and make that bed ready for onion sets to go in before the month is out.

Thanks Ma for setting this up
