Hi Guys & Gals,

Thought I would join the club I get up at 3:20 every morning to go to work it's been 43 days so far without a day off, the joys of being a fisherman.  Only a week to go then i'm having a well deserved weekend off.

Dan

Hey Dan, are you out of Sovereign Harbour then?

Getting better down there isn't it!

Best wishes! And good fishing!

Morning all. Fresh-ish start to the day though the storm many had yesterday almost missed us. Fancy a quiet day today after a few days baking and chutneying. Just need to fudge a beetroot chocolate cake , make shortbread and sort veggies and orders for the car boot sale tomorrow.

Morning all, pa has at least another week off so it's going to be a busy one on the plot. Weren't back from our break at the lakes more than an hour yesterday and we got stuck into the garden then up on the plot until 10pm. No rest for the wicked  ;)

Had an exciting time so far. OH has just checked the beehive and it looks as if we might get honey this year as all the frames are filled and capped and another layer needs to be added. We only got the hive in May.  He has made the frames, just needs the box whatever it's called. I can't believe how much they do in just a few days...but the sunflower fields are in full bloom which helps I suppose.

I need to develop a taste for it! Quite like it on fresh bread with proper butter (not available here, nor is cream to make it) but don't really use much sugar myself, though OH has a sweet tooth. And he likes cake. will have to research. Luckily it didn't cost much to set up, not like the UK.

Can easily sell to other ex-pats though.

I was fishing out of Eastbourne but now working out of Brighton marina,

They have got Extreme event on, along the seafront by the sovereign centre swimming pool, always worth a look.
Dear God, Please can you stop the wind and rain and bring on the nice weather. Amen
