Morning all, been up a couple of hours now. Had a coffee earlier, then washed the car. Took 30 Tomato plants out of the potting shed, put them on the lawn to give them a good water as they are going into the plot later. Just had a bacon butty, now going to dry of the car and give it a quick detail polish. See ya later. :)

Might you and your bacon but ties get my taste buds going of a morning oh how I could eat one of them :D

That bright thing in the sky and he blue sheet around it has us up and on the plot at this unearthly hour for a Sunday morning well since 8am actually. Making the most of the weather today as it's forecast rain tomorrow and for rest of week almost. The neighbours must think we are mad  :D had to be out earlyish though as I am looking after next door but ones cat so go over to feed her and let her out of a morning and then visa versa late afternoon.

Hope you all have this lovely weather. :D

My morning started early enough for me.... but there's never time to come on here until my mother's tea is made, breakfast served and the other chores completed on a Sunday morning.... ready for my sister to stroll in for "the whole day" before vanishing to eat the dinner someone else will have cooked for her.

Looked like a lovely start to Sunday's weather..... but cloudy now and the temperature has dropped considerably.

Morning all. Well, we needed rain and as the rest of Europe has had torrential rain and flooding in recent weeks it was only a matter of time before it reached us here in Bulgaria. And thunderstorms are set to continue for a month yet. Today we have wind, an unusual thing in our area with a breeze being the most we expect. With fruit and nuts being a huge market here I feel for those who have lost a lot of their crop after such a promising spring. Also it was looking like a bumper crop of roses in the rose oil industry after a few lean years. So sad for such a poor country.

So sorry to hear the weather outlook for you is not good. There seems to be no "normal" to weather patterns any more or perhaps the  new "normal" is less favourable for us gardeners than it once was. Here's hoping you don't get too much wet and chill.

(Polytunnels seem to be becoming more attractive every year for some people.)

Looking like a mainly dry day, going to emulsion the walls before heading off to the lotty later to plant some kale and weed.

Hope the authorities don't read that the wrong way! I'm currently stood at the station where my train has been cancelled... Only another 17 minutes to go...!

I did a double take when I read that!!
I thought 'why are you planting weeds!' ???

I obviously have a more innocent mind than Asherweef - that wasn't my first thought!!

Blurry good morning to all. Kept awake by itchy bites, lots of bitey things getting vicious in the warm and damp weather. The dog knew I was awake and kept tapping her claws on the floor, wanting an early breakfast. Grrrr
