Have a good trip DD. I lived in Chester before moving here and my sister lives in Windermere.I used to live and work in the Dales years ago. So lots of familiar areas to me, I'll think of you enjoying them. :)

You see, you're lucky DD, because you can go away in all directions!

Down here, we can only really go West or North, besides a bit of East Kent!

And as the business/retail/leisure promoters always say when talking about coastal towns - 'Fish don't buy tickets'!

Had a lie in today before I'm off to the Cake and Bake show in Manchester - hope it lives up to last year!

It's got cake, how can it not be?!  :nowink: :tongue2:

Hope you had a good day, Asherweef.

Certainly did! Major downer that mum's dog was put down with Alabama rot but she still wanted to be out of the house... She'd only had him for 3 weeks :(. When I'm home I'll post some pictures because the cakes were amazing. I'm now 60 quid worse off for books, dough scrapers and acoutrements though!

Thanks, bit damp here at the mo, but weather clearing north, which is the way we're heading!  First stop Chester, then Blackpool for an amateur radio rally, then the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

Weather forecast is " variable", for want of a better word.

I am so jealous DD!!! Lucky thing. Holidays

I hope you have a great time. The Yorkshire Dales are beautiful no matter when (even early in the morning) or what the weather. Which part are you going to?

Morning all, am I the first up? I had a bit of a lie in this morning which is a rare treat for me though I have to say that lately I have been sleeping a bit longer with just the odd early morning wake up where I can't get back to sleep.
Looks a reasonable day out there, time for coffee me thinks  :D

Morning all. Just saying hello before going off to a market, once it's light enough to let the chooks out. Answered emails and watched Casualty and about to pack the car up.

Have a lovely day everyone....we are hoping for rain, but hopefully a bit later. :D

What happened next was reminiscent of the Full Monty car in canal scene.
Me, Hello :)
He, Hello :)
Me, You all right?
He, Yes :)
By the time OH found his glasses, slippers and trousers, the chap was gone.  Now he thinks I was imagining it  >:(

My feet are usually pinned down in bed by one determined cat  ::)

Ours does that... but only in cold weather. Makes a great foot warmer.
But
When Mrs P is away kitty wanders up and down on top of me to wake me up for breakfact at 5!

It doesn't work so she tries the subtle approach... a cold nose on the tip of mine.
More successful when repeated every 5 minutes.

By the way. Good morning  :)

Well, that's another day sorted and I can sit down at home, read, watch tv, surf or... go to bed I suppose.

I'm not going to be part of the early morning club today.

Interviews enjoyable and successful I hope?
