i have bought some seed spuds from Wilko's and i noticed something that occurred to me last year when i bought some pots in the supermarket. when i was younger, ALL Jersey Royals were kidney shaped. last year they were all shapes a lot of them round, does anyone know, if the type of potato grown there has been eased out to allow any potato grown in Jersey to be called a Royal and will it follow that seed potatos are given the same leeway?

interesting. i know a bit about the historty, i have seaweed and seaweed extract to feed mine, perhaps they were always mixed and my memory playing tricks
