which ways up
« on: February 24, 2014, 19:21 »
       Evening All.
I had an enjoyable day yesterday at the Glasgow potato fair, picked up some
Arran Pilot, International Kidney and a bag of charlotte.
my daft question now is, when it comes to chitting, which way is up or does
it matter. sorry for being such a thicko.
keep on digging

Chits up is fine when they're obvious and it comes to planting time, but before they're really showing, there's a bit in this article which may be useful when it comes to setting them up to chit:

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Yes, I was there as well as several hundred others!! There were many very interesting varieties available, and the home bakes were mouthwatering. So good to see Glasgow plotters pulling together for the good of the allotment community.
