Trying to source a few Ambo potatoes
« on: January 14, 2014, 11:05 »
After the great write ups for Ambo I'd like to try a few - but can't find any. I normally buy at potato days but it seems that this isn't a variety they stock. Any ideas? Or anyone willing to sell me half a dozen of their surplus?

Yes but delivery is £5.99.

I was just about to ask the same question but I'm hoping to find a source within 50 miles of Exeter, so that I can go and collect.

Any ideas?

Give my local nursery a ring

They used to post out if requested at a reasonable rate. I've been there today to try and get mine, but they're still on the pallets waiting to be put out!

(Don't nick them all)
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Thanks, I rang them just now and they said they'd have to ask the boss (who's on holiday), but they promised to get back to me.

Perhaps that's why they've not replied to my email, sent 14th Jan. I might get them locally of course - will inquire over the next few days.
