Ambo Slug Damage
« on: August 21, 2014, 20:15 »
Hi All,
I know we are getting this years Spud harvest into storage, but our Lottie society will soon be touting for next years Seed spud orders.

I have always grown Desiree and found them to be Slug resistant, I will always grow Desiree  but I do like to try another variety alongside them.

Has anyone grown Ambo recently and what is their resistance to Slugs like? Also what type of Yield do you get from he Ambo?

Thanks FB

I grew them for the first time this year on the recommend of DD. No slug damage & a decent crop. Only had 3 seed potatoes though.
