Sarpo Mira have been slug free two years in a row -- but, as noted above, some don't like the taste/texture

I  grew sarpo mira and kestrel this year i had no problems with slugs, l did use nemaslug once or twice, it is expensive though as you have to use it every six to eight weeks.  Just wish there bring one out for flea beetles they caused more damage then the slugs. ;)

I grew Sarpo Mira for the first time this year to beat the slugs and they were a total failure, being riddled with the blighters - unlike my other varieties.   I now wonder if the loose seed potato display last January had the wrong labels on the buckets?  The alleged Sarpos are soggy and tasteless too.

It back to the wonder-spud Kestrel for me next year.
Sometimes my plants grow despite, not because of, what I do to them.

Although mine were not full of slugs, I also found the sarpo mira soggy and tasteless >:( so I won't be growing them next year maybe Foremost or Anya .
