I saw them on a late-night wander through seed sites - has anyone grown them and are they at all tasty?

I've not heard of them.
There are a lot of new berries on the market and I'm getting confused over them! :D

Where have you found these?

Plant World Seeds - but I've since found some US sites that say the berries are a bit bland, so I am now thinking of honeyberries or chilean guava as both get better reports.

Honeyberries are supposed to be lovely.
I need a replacement blueberry for the blueberry bed and thought I'd try the newer 'pink berry' instead - since they're the same basic plant.
It'll probably turn blue within 2 years!

Thanks for the warning Carl - always handy to know beforehand! I bought my 2 y/o quince tree, and then found out it's unlikely to fruit for another couple of years or so - by which time I will have moved!
