[Kate and her Ducks]

I have just harvested some of our damsons and went looking for a a damson chutney and found Delia's which was followed with due care and diligence.

Now criticising a Delia recipe is always a bit dangerous but... errmmm... well it's just a bit ... jammy. It looks like the pics and have read a review (since) that mentioned it's a bit jammier than a usual chutney. it tastes OK (unusual in itself this early) but was kinda hoping for something a bit "chutneier".

Anyone have any good recipes?

I've used her plum chutney receipe from the complete cookery course books with damsons and its looks like nomal chutney.
