Simple question this one.

With the weather we have had i appear to have a ton of squash this year, a good few squash are now a decent size so i was wondering if it is ok to cut these off and leave to ripen to give the smaller ones a chance to grow on?

Logic tells me i can but you just know.

Any squash experts here?

They taste much better if you leave them on at least until the skin changes colour

off you go then.......................... cut with as long a stem as poss and store on sunny windowledge for a couple of weeks to cure

I would leave it in case the smaller one croaks. You never know
