A weather forcaster told our local BBC gardening program that 5 days was the limit for semi acurate preditions after that its guesswork.

I can't say so far where I am has been that bad I've had some really pleasant days on the lotty so far, no where near as wet as last year.

Tha Daily Mail strikes agin!   I hope they predict next Summer (2014) as being cold and wet that way we can all arrange extra water storage on site to combat the heatwave.

The Met Office, was indeed forecasting a summer like last year - if the jet-stream stayed where it was then!

Luckily for us the jet-stream moved further North YAY  8) So let's just enjoy it while it lasts  :)

Quite right Mum, and they'll never be any good at long-term forecasting until they know what causes the jet-stream to move the way it does (and at the moment they appear to know diddly!)  ::)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
