I remember my nan always taking the teapot out into the garden and watering the plants with it, she used to say her herbs and the likes loved it.

Is their any benefit, I am hoping seen as hubby must make 20 pots a day.

I drink bucket loads of green tea and always poor the dregs over my window herbs and chilli plants.  They're all growing well and strong.  Not sure if its the tea or not, but it doesn't hurt

yes, i'm sure it must have some benefit, we put teabags in the compost after all

I have a sneaking suspicion that cold tea is slightly acidic, so I wouldn't water brassicas with it.

She was a tea bag lady not leaves. Hehe maybe I'll try cold tea on my blueberries, they can't look much worse.
