spots on tomato leaf

Any idea what this is? its only effected the lower leaves thus far. The rest of the plant looks pretty good as you can see from the pic below.

 Image of my tomatoes -

Lots of the lower leaves look like this to some degree -

One of the worst looking leaves -

Any idea what this could be?

I think its something external to the plant rather than the health of the plant itself, some sort of pest a bit of nibbling and some patches that look like the leaf has been sucked dry. Slugs? caterpillars? Aphids?
Grease bands around the pots for slugs and snails, basil in each pot for whitefly, marigolds in each pot for other aphids, not sure what you can get for caterpillars. Bribe a robin?

Oh, just another quick point, its tomato not tomatoe. My spell checker lights up when I type tomatoe, does yours?

It looks a little like leaf miner to me, or alternatively have you been watering so that the leaves get wet (splashed from above or below)?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I've seen a few black fly but not that many. I will have a closer look at somepoint tommorow. The lower leaves are kind of close to the soil so i'm sure some water will have splashed onto the leaves so could just be that. I did spell it tomato... but the plural of tomato is tomatoes.

Could be scorching where you've watered.

I am reasonably sure that this is thrips damage.

The brownish speckling is a telltale sign

As the plants are outdoors, predators are out of the question so you'll have to spray the plants with a general pesticide. If you're 'organic', fatty acids will do okay, otherwise the Provado Ultimate Bug killer is good stuff.

I came, I saw, I planted potatoes...

That is a US site and does not recognise the fact that it is illegal to use home made pesticides in this UK.

This site can't condone or encourage this, I'm afraid.

The RHS has a pdf with advice for pesticides/fungicides available to the home gardener, some are organic  :)
