Oooohhhh yesssss, I love broccoli and Stilton, and carrot and coriander, but not tried it with orange in.  But you can't have tomato soup without basil!     ;)

But let's face it, just about anything tastes better with stilton in it, or failing that parmesan, or mozzarella, or any cheese really :)

Aunty, can you please send me some seeds for the cheese bush?  ;)

Grow grass and buy a cow/sheep/goat. Milk twice a day. Make cheese. Easy peasy.

They will also eat up trimmed off brassica leaves and any excess produce. What comes out the other end will feed your crops.

It would ruin it for me  - I hate blue cheese, but any non-blue cheese is fine, thank you  ;)

I don't think there are that many of us cheese haters about, I only had a lady ask how I live without cheese, errrm well it makes me violently sick and the last time put me in hospital for three days.

Easy really........

I can't eat raw cheese, I just hate it. However, cooked cheese is something else and I love it but every bit has to be melted. I love cheese in my soup, casserole, bread, and in toasties.  I thought I would hate blue cheese in soup but I made it for a guest and then myself and another guest got stuck into it and were soon both converts.  You have to be prepared to try things  :tongue2:

So, back to soup.  French tarragon is lovely so grow some, you won't regret it. Sorrel too  :)

Wish I could. I've planted French tarragon three times now and every time it's keeled over and died in the winter.

Yeah but, it just plays dead!  It looks for all the world like it's dead but that's just the top. It springs forth afresh if you give it chance.  I picked the dead bits off mine and just left it in the unheated greenhouse and I noticed today that it looks fab, all fresh, green and lovely

French tarragon is a tender perennial so it should be taken inside for winter.
