Chicken being sick
« on: April 23, 2013, 20:58 »
Hi all

I hope someone can advise me. My hen is very lethargic and unsteady on her feet. I've just picked her up and she's started being sick. There is a lot of fluid and its clear and smelly. If I rub her crop it feels like the liquid is sloshing around.

Now she's got quite a bit of the liquid up she seems a bit better, she's walking around scratching in the garden but still a little unbalanced.

I haven't seen her eat or drink today. What should I do till I can get her to the vets tomorrow?

Thanks
Beth
