Hello everyone, i have brinsea octagon 20 and 20th day will be completed tomorrow (thursday) around 12-1 and i have seen any of them rock or chirping or peeps.. Any suggestions? Mayb its too early

They usually hatch from day 21 onwards. I've had some as late as day 24 and some bantams i had last year hatched on day 18 / 19.
I think you will still be looking at Friday for hatching.

Have you filled both of the water tanks now?

This is only an observation from when i have hatched using an incubator, they almost always start pipping at nightime. Hours later and still nothing, i go to bed. Sometimes in the morning some may have made it out of the shell and sometimes still nothing until later that morning. Not very predictable i'm afraid.

I would go out for the day to take your mind off it 

do not keep taking the lid off as it may cause hatching problems. Once they have hatched, do not take them out for 8-12 hours so they can properly dry off and to maintain the humidity.

I just put my new cockerel in the coop first night here mayb he was shy to go in. Now watching lord of the rings n yes im taking it off my mind lol.

Don't be tempted to interfere, you will just have to be patient.

It has made progress which is good hole is alot bigger. The inner membrane looks abit dry not sure though.. Got 4 more peeping..

1 more question when i take them out n put them in brooder, i have couple more hatching, would it affect them by lifting the lid, also wana candle the rest just incase they need help..

I have 9th hatching and the others i had to take them out. And i have put little bit water around the outer membrane and its back in the bator, filled the channels up again. Hope he makes it

We used to hatch them at school and then take them to the local farm, where the eggs initially came from.  We haven't done it this year and I really miss the hatching part
