« on: January 13, 2013, 15:12 »
Just been offerd a fresh bag of chicken manure, now I know its classed as "hot" when is it ok to use? I mean does it need to be composted or if dug in a.s.a.p will it be ok for corn this coming year?

You are quite correct to think chicken muck is far too fierce to use fresh.  Best used as an accelarator in the compost heap.

Yeah, it will basically supercharge your compost bin. Mix it in real good and you'll have lovely compost in no time!
