I got mine from Mr Fothergills, stockbridge arrow and timberly early, on special offer.
As it happens the Stockbridge crowns werent that great and I've had loads of stuff from Mr Fothergills before so I called them and they replaced them straight away.  :D
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

I bought a Glaskin's perpetual from a local garden centre and even in the first year has cropped well. It has an unusual textured & flavoursome outer skin. Not large stalks but different.  I grew it in a plastic dustbin.
Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and be suspected of knowing nothing than opening it and proving it.

I'm coveting some more rhubarb crowns. I've got one plant each of Timperley Early and one unknown variety, which I think might be Victoria or Glaskin's. I'd quite like to try some of those new sweeter varieties which DT Brown seems to have a good choice of. I can't decide between 2 crowns each of Raspberry Red and Valentine or 2 crowns each of Stockbridge Arrow and Red Champagne.

DT Brown might not be the cheapest source but I've always found them to be an excellent supplier of seeds and they do have a pretty good rep. They also have quite a good selection of rhubarb varieties.

I have found DT Brown to be excellent too (they are owned by Mr Fothergills). They are one of the few companies I have found who offer both a quality product and excellent customer service.  :)

Cawood delight is my favourite....closely followed by timperley early. CD has rich red right through the stems,it is not a heavy cropper though,so a couple of plants might be needed if you are a bit partial. Not many suppliers of CD....but an online search should find it.
Victoria is very disappointing on my plot.....green stems,I've now taken my 2 victorias out.
