Anyone know if seagulls like peas? and should I move the bird feeder that currently hangs right next to my pea bed

It's just netting supported at a low height until the plants are 6" high, taken off until the flowers appear, then the whole lot re-netted at a higher level.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

We have some fleece tunnel type things, they have wires sewn in at regular intervals to stand them up. We bought them from Aldi when they had them in, expect they'll have them in again soon.

I'll expand a bit.

This  piccie is extracted from my pea thread. As you can see I don't piddle about with peas. I shall probably be growing twice this amount this year.

I have a lot of 18" lengths of wood that are bashed into the ground at frequent intervals. Debris netting is then draped over them and pegged down at the edges. This keeps the mice at bay.

When the plants are about 6" high, the netting comes off and is used elsewhere and the supports you see are banged in.

When the plants flower, any old netting is draped over these supports - as long as there's no holes big enough to let pigeons in.
