I have one of these on my allotment . My local Robin just loves to sit on his head waiting for me to dig over my plot so he can fly down for his lunch. It does not have any effect on the local pigeons so best not to go that route.

I have seen pigeons get trapped inside net cages on my site (which I have subsequently helped to release). I guess they find a small gap between sections of netting then can't find their way  out again.

We have one of those at work at the entrance of the building we work in which is a big hangar type building as there is a problem with pigeons roosting inside. It seems to have made no difference as they are still there flying around!  ::)

Yep, Pigeons are ruining my beetroot and other young plants. Never had this in the past but I believe they are getting a real pest this year.

I net every thing (carrots leeks onions and brassicas ) they are made of enviromesh stapled to 2x1ins timber and are 8ft x 4ft ,the top is held in place with velcro tape ,it is easy to rip off to gain access to crops .I have used them for 3yrs now .

Nice creation.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
