Seaweed fertiliser

How do you use this stuff, do you dig it in, throw it on top, or ( I like this idea best if possible) add water to it, and water it down to something looking like weak tea, and feed it to plants that way, I have about 10 bags of the stuff in 25kg bags, but no instructions on the bags
I should have said its in granules & pellet form
Thanks

Is it calcified seaweed or does it have another name?

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Are the 25kg bags absolutely silent on what type of fertiliser it is, or does it just say seaweed fertiliser?    What brand is it?

No brand on them, just plain white plastic bags with seaweed fertilised on them (its for trade use) I will tell you what there using it for, mainly small sapling trees, but I dont know how they were using them, I Imagen they just put a hand full of the stuff around it or in the hole they drilled

Wikipaedia suggests that granular seaweed fertiliser is likely to be insoluble, so you should fork it into the ground a couple of weeks before planting anything out (it could be too strong for direct contact with roots).

How's your maths in calculating application rates?

Or you could just do the standard handful per square yard that the rest of us do for every type of dried fertiliser ... !
