And when the babies have grown and then you could be back on the allotment, teaching willing helpers.

I'd be planning a roped off section for them... My little ones were great tramplers!  ::)

Hi Guys,

I'm glad you all agree, I do feel like a weight has been lifted!! and therefore I know it is the right decision.  I bought one of the PVC greenhouses from Wilkinsons last year and I bought one 3 times the size in the end of the summer sale in August for next season so I'll get plenty in there.

I have a part of my garden that is unused, size approx 2ft by 15ft that runs along the back of my garden bottom fence but as the garden is south facing, it gets hardly any direct sunlight - is this still good for growing - would anything do really well in there??

Ricki (a very happy Rick!! LOL)

Good for you Norfolk veg.

Now you'll have plenty of time to do the things you want to do without the worry. It is amazing what can be grown in a small garden patch when it's easy to reach and maintain.

As for the shady patch... It'll be interesting to see what advice others have to offer as I'll soon have a small patch at the end of the garden too and would like to make the best of it for veg.
