hi just after a bit of help.
we have a chick that hatched over twenty four hours ago and seems to have a lot of fight in it but has made no attempt to stand,drink or eat?
 
anyone got somw wise words for me

In an incubator or under a broody?

If in an incubator, did you leave it there for 24 hours to dry out and fluff up?

Chicks may not eat or drink for 72 hours as they live off their absorbed yolk.

I would check to see iff he has splay legs, usually it is pretty obvious, but not always

we too had a chick that did the same but within 24 hours was up and about with the other chicks

As Casey said, check to make sure it doesn't have splayed legs, but some of our chicks don't do much for 24 hours.  It's very tiring pecking your way out of an egg!

the chick stood and started eating but dies after a couple of days
the rest are fighting fit and growing fast but at least we tried to help the little fluff ball

so sad  , but pleased it's siblings are doing fine
