"And two allotments"?  Don't you think it would be nice to hand back one of your allotments so someone with no allotment could grow their own veggies?   Cheers,   Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Why should he?

Firstly, how do you know there's a waiting list? Not all places have them.

Secondly, I've got two quite large plots, I got them when there was little interest in allotmenteering. If it wasn't for the people who kept them going in the lean times, they'd be under houses now.

So are you saying I should hand one back? "Thank you for keeping the plots going, we'll reward you by relieving of one and save you some work". I don't think so.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

i agree with DD if your keeping em in order and making use of them in the right way by all means carry on.  if there is a waiting list then they have to wait for vacant plots to be available,    sounds fair to me
when im with my 9yr old she's the sensible one

I think your garden looks brilliant, I wish ours looked half as good.

Our local pigeons would have finished off those brassicas in no time at all, yours must be very well trained!

You also have very well trained slugs. They just LOOOOVE dark moist places like underneath of mat or membrane.

Just out of curiosity, why is the rhubarb boxed in? Were  you trying to blanch some earlier?

I too agree, that if you can keep up 2 allotments, then do so.

Good luck to you and your two allotments :) I don't see why you should give an allotment back. Your garden plot looks great.
