just  got  some  from  DT BROWN  called  EXCELLENZ  (free postage too)   it  says  in  the catalogue  they  are  an  improvement  on  kelvedon  wonder.  these  are  to  sow  in  OCT gonna  gove  them  a  try,  never  sown  winter  peas  before.  you  can  order  online  at DT  brown  Seeds. ;) ;) ;)

DT Brown also state that Feltham First is probably the earliest to crop of all autumn sown peas and this is what the original poster was after - a quick crop to get out before the beans took over. (And they're cheaper).
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

glad  to  help  totty, im  going  to  plant  mine soon , ive  also  got  some  winter  caulies  in i  have  grown  from  seed  there only  about  3" high  but  ive  got  a  cloch  on  them  until  they  get  a  bit  tougher , worth  a  try  though  ;) ;) ;)
