A bit of rain seems to have pushed all the home ones up now. No idea on the plot ones as I haven't been up yet.

Planted mine....can't remember... Easter weekend I think, and nothing showing so far.

Anyone know when I can expect to see an appearance?

All the way from my allotment in beautiful Derbyshire. I'm in year 3 of my allotment and wish I'd caught the bug years ago, things growing from strength to strength

Just let me check.....
I accidentally dug up one of my charlottes yesterday being far too eager thinking it was a weed, because no
Others were showing, popped it back in quickly!
Am I supposed to 'earth them up' as soon as they show or wait till they're a certain height?
Many thanks

Mumofstig has actually answered the same question in reply #70 in this very thread.  ;)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

The rain has finally pushed up green evidence of my non-chitted early javelins that were behind my other chitted main crops.

Still no sign of my 1sts 2nds and main yet that were planted up the plot on the 15th of April but I also planted some pentland javelin in patio bags, two bags at home and one each in my friends and my sisters gardens (cos im nice like that) that was about the end of april and they are showing now. My two bags with five spuds in each are about 3" high now!  :D but im nervous of jack frost now too.

I planted my chitted spuds (from an 8 variety pack) into 12 potato planters on April 7th. They have flown up - I've earthed them up 3 times already, over the bank holiday they grew 6 inches!! I am going to earth them up for a 4th time this weekend, I will probably reached the top of the planter by then. I'm hoping for mid-June for the first harvesting  :tongue2:

Had 3 Kestrels come through, not bad as it seems like I only planted them a couple of weeks ago.
